Things were going SO WELL with this one... so great and a little nervous but a lot fluffy and then... A frickin' uninvited guest shows up. bloody hell.

I will have to twist this one to get it back on the fluff path tomrrow, but i'm beat now... but here's where i'm at so far...

the continuing saga of 'As the Fish Swim'

This morning, I awoke to find the tank that I put the fish from work in - all of the fishies have ick. *le sigh*

I have treated the tank, I am going to pull the filter right now actually because I forgot to do that part... I have never had ick in any of my tanks before, but I've read on it so that I'd know how to handle it right away if it happened. So far, they are not acting too stranglely.. there was some hiding going on last night, but today they're swimming about again. Definitely ick though.

I have a feeling that the catfish that died a few days ago was the one who got it, and I wouldn't have seen it being a)he's mostly white to begin with and b) he's a frantic little sucker. Was a frantic little sucker... anyhow...

This is weird... the tank itself is purple (go figure) and the water is now tinted green... it looks so awesome, but for totally the wrong reason..

Oh, and I just came up with another idea to slip into the fluffy fics while I was grocery shopping (over two hours to shop... oy...) ^_^ And Erviniae wants some Ress on Fin or Fin on Ress action, so I'll see what I can do with that...

this really really sucks

in part, it's very sad because there was a nice little community with some fish who would not normally get along together (eg, two male gouramis and only one female; the baby fish growing up without anyone trying to eat them, a mellow little betta with a curious nature).. on the other hand, i suppose they are all together in fishy heaven now

on monday, i'm testing the tank again, and then i'll see.. i almost don't want to get fish again.. i'm thinking of draining it halfway, keeping the snails, and getting frogs. or else getting some nice, pretty goldfish. whatever i get, it'll be something i have no plans to get attached to, considering i'll not be around them very long
