I'm a vulture, and I'm okay with that

Have been hitting both a bookstore and a video store that are closing.
Best deal so far: 16 cents for a foreign film (a whole chunk of them were 40 cents each)

Heck, for just the case, it's a deal.

Total DVDs acquired: 157, with an average cost of $2.01 per film

To give you an idea of what the flip side is in the library, I put in an order two months ago for some career videos... 100 video set, on discount of 20% off came to $8,495 and change. Great videos, and needed to update the collection. But... not as good of a deal as this.

Which is why I'm okay with being a vulture. It all balances out.

Wednesday I'm hitting the bookstore. I'm usually a little sadder when I hit bookstores, because I actually use them a lot more than video stores.

I might already be a winner!

According to the Wendy's website, the code on Mark's drink cup has equated to a free Home Depot gift card, in two to four weeks.

Good thing we have a house to use it on now ;)

Also, I feel a cold coming on. So I'm snacking on buffalo wings to clear my sinuses.

Screw Yule not doing well. Muses aren't being helpful with short stuff. This Erestor thing is going on chapter five, and I don't want to start another one until this finished. The Gil-Galad one is probably an epic, or so Glorfindel (who's playing straight in that one) has warned me. And then there's Maedhros and Fingon, who have decided masquerades are silly, but want an even more epically proportioned story written.

Oh, how I long for PWP bunnies sometimes...
