weird dream
Last night (okay, actually, I didn't go to bed until 7am... Lalaith_Raina's been initiating me into the world of MMOs now that LOTRO is free to play... if you're there, find me, I'm playing Valarda) I dreamt that John McGivern taught Mark and I how to apply the principles of the Periodic Table of Elements first to the hierarchy of animal species, and then to the genealogy of Middle-earth characters.
Not by lecture. By cake.
He was drawing things on giant (12 or more feet across) cakes with frosting.
He's an excellent dream-cake decorator.
There was also some stuff in there that linked back to work stuff; students complaining about promotional videos made five or six years ago and me explaining to the council how that all happened. Also, there was a little white and grey kitten that we found living in the theatre of the campus.
It was all quite bizarre, but I'm awake now. Time for more middle-earth, I think...
