Talk About Indecisive

Okay, I had another thought on Nano. So, last year, I planned this half-Valinor, half-Shakespearian England monster that required a lot of research and omg the angst. It was an angsty time -- all the medical stuff, the two car accidents, etc. I started it, and an hour into NaNo looked over at rustyangel and basically said 'i can't do this anymore' (she and I hit the wordz, like, right after midnight. like, still in costume. like, on the floor of my living room. it was, like, awesome.) So I did a Nano 'reboot' and started into Unforgivable, and when that wasn't dark enough, Rainbow in the Dark happened.

I think I'm in a better place this year. A place where suicidal deer don't launch themselves at my vehicle, and medication doesn't cause a full-body rash. With that in mind, I think I might be able to tackle that one from last year again.

Only, instead of the crazy-ass England idea (shame on those of you who didn't scream 'crack-fic!' and try to stop me!!!), it'll just be Valinor, and I'll have Erestor there with Glorfindel. And last year at the kick-off, someone gave me a great idea to work into it if I needed more 'oomph', which was to... oh, wait, that would ruin the whole plot. Okay, nevermind, you didn't hear anything...

I know, it's vague... at the heart of it, it'll be the two of them going off to live in an area populated by Vanyar and their coping of the situation -- and perhaps a bit of stuff with Haldir thrown in, and then I need to find a way for Maglor to get to Valinor, since that was -- omg, I just answered my own question. Well then. I think I have a Lorien trio that needs to go on a little adventure.

*huggles LJ* I'm so glad we had this chat, Postie. You're the best!

PS to lalaith_raina... Eighth brother, carry the unicorn... I think I can still make that happen

Synopsis

Okay. A synopsis now exists of my new version of my old idea. That practically makes it official now, right?

(I think this link goes to my profile over there for curious people: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/109537)
