Good thing I didn't plan for DragonCon this year...
Yesterday, I had three consecutive lectures. I've done three in a day before, but one right after the other -- literally running from A to B and from B to C -- not so much. The day before, I had my three-hour class, my office hours, and two lectures (one in the am, one in the pm), meaning I was on campus from 8am to 9:45pm Wednesday and 8am to 7:30pm Thursday. (And during all of this, in between and such, there's all the regular library stuff to do, too.)
I was okay when I left, but by the time I got home I was feeling it. Sore throat and fatigue and just plain ick. I made dinner, but I went to bed without eating (said I was just taking a nap - lol - yeah, I was out in ten minutes) but Mark wrapped up everything so I have it for lunch today. Still tired, still sore throat, still feeling ick and conjested. It's like, the 48 hour lecture cold, or something. I know it's not a 'real' illness, just a 'I wore myself out and am not functioning properly' illness. And so... I'm glad I have no lectures scheduled for today. And it just ain't happening if someone comes by last minute.
There was actually a 7:30 lecture last night, but someone else let me pawn it off on her. I think I probably would have been really sick if I hadn't. We are going to have dinner with relatives tonight, and I'd hate to have to cancel as I haven't seen them in a year (and they live only about 15 miles away).
Now, in nanowrimo news, I received the ML paperwork yesterday and promptly sent it back. *fingers crossed* So... who in the Milwaukee/Waukesha area wants to write a novel...?
