zhie | Valentine's Day... ^

So this will be #8. If we were elves, this would be our anniversary, not to be confused with the 'contractual' anniversary that falls in September, which is also a very nice month.

Fancy dining arrangements were contemplated. Pizza ended up receiving the majority of the votes, so we can be stalked over at di Carlo's if anyone is bored. (Which is not far from a Culver's, where custard flows like water from the falls.)

Some people have this love/hate relationship with Valentine's day, others have a love/love relationship, while others have this oblivious attitude towards it. I'd like to take the time now to talk about... my least favorite days of the year.

-New Year's Day
So, things are a mess, everyone's got a hangover, and tomorrow... we all work. Great way to start off the year. Plus, someone's probably got blackmail footage or photos of you doing something while you're drunk off your ass. And tomorrow, you've promised to start a diet or exercise more or some crappy thing like that. The only things to do are stand in line to return crappy Christmas gifts in hopes those who got you said crappy gifts won't run into you and perhaps go see a shitty movie because you've seen all the good ones. Should be renamed 'Day of Torture'.

-Mondays
Oh, come on, you hate them, too. You know you do. Admit it.

-The Day After the Day After Thanksgiving
Any day that you wake up to find that your credit card is maxed out and your inlaws are still in town isn't going to rank in the happy happy category.

-Kick Zhie Day
Now, I don't know who invented this one, but when I found it on the calendar a few years back, well... then again, everyone says I should just be happy to have a national holiday, but I'm not so sure...

Oy, the TI guy just stopped over and scolded me for not wearing red on Valentine's day. I told him, I'm wearing purple, it's like the cousin of red. And he says, you mean the gay cousin.
