I came home last night to the strangest sound... this buzzing coming from inside the apartment. Cats were very unhappy. Went to the source - answering machine. Sitting there and just buzzing loudly, with the green light permanently on.

Tried lots of things to jump start it - nothing. Had to unplug the naughty thing.

Lost my announcement message.

Very sad.
