The morning after...
Feb. 15th, 2005 08:34 amSo, although the five year anniversary is still to come in September, yesterday marked the non-contractual anniversary of seven years. *huggles her ranger* And it was about that time that he starting mentioning these furry footed critters and some book about a ring, so it's all thanks to him that I can proudly call myself an elf-smut writer today.
Hmm... moving right along...
I have one purple bunny left. Just one. Number 39, Flute and Fiddle. The title was originally going to be used for number 46 or 47, then it was moved to 45, then all the way back to 39, and the plot has completely changed from nice, sweet romantic time in the garden to the theme of "Harad Night", where Glorfindel promises to dance, Erestor ends up being embarassed by more than one elf, and silliness all around. (What happens in Harad stays in Harad!) Seemed better to end on this than on the Mandos Halls one, which nearly happened.
Also, this is going to hint at things for 'Eagle and Dove', considering that story takes place in Harad. (yeah, I'm weaving again) Some of that story was written in Florida while I sat in the doorway that connected our room to the Tripp room while Mei slowly fell asleep as Disney cartoons played on the TV.
Apparently, watching a writer write, not all that exciting. Who'd have thunk?
I will have to scan some of the pics from the trip... figure I'll get to that in a year or two with the way I go.
Alright, guess that's enough of an update for now... so until next time, I remain,
