New Icon! and stuff

Not sure if I should add any words to it or not. Suppose I shall leave that open for opinions from those who read this. The art is by Mei, but I colored it and slapped a background behind it... mwahaha! All artists who do not color their works, beware me and my aresenal of coloring mediums!

Okay, okay, I always ask before playing... but i love to color... wait, I've mentioned that a bazillion times already, nevermind.

And the current score stands:

Me: 4

Carpeters: 3

Electrician: 2

Maintenance: 2 1/2

Movers: ZERO

I don't think the movers are going to win this game.

That of course means all the movage has been done by myself and either the carpeters or the maintenence guys or the other librarian.

Which reminds me, I have to pick up donuts for the maintenence guys tomorrow. Probably just order pizza for the carpeters; maybe donuts and bagels, not sure... *contemplates sauce stains on new carpet* donuts and bagels it is!

and met a new coworker today. she didn't bite me, i think we'll keep her.

my boss called and made jedi references yesterday... apparently, i'm a sith lord (lady?) since i'm part of the dark side (MLS degree) and i'm no longer a padawan (did i spell that right?) learner, since i've got my own apprentice now

no wonder he lets me go to tolkien conferences without a fuss

PS - The cover of Furrlough is SO SO awesome this month. It's a cheetah! She's gorgeous. I so want that cover as a big framed something... wonder how many questions I'd get if I hung that in my office? Love it, though. Reminds me a bit of my avatar, cause she's got a tail! ^_^ Will have to scan to show the non-furs who are going 'wtf...' what I'm talking about.
