Last night, I went and huggled TJ at about midnight. He's on his way to Mississippi now, then to Iraq. I slept worse last night than I have in a long, long while. *sigh* So, my little brother will be kicking ass over yonder seas.
Christmas is going to be really, really... not so much with the bustling house. Now that the family is split in two parts because of my uncle's death, that leaves five of us here. And the first year that there won't be any kids around at all, since Monty's legal now and my cousin obviously won't be there.
I feel really bad for Monty... she and TJ were practically best friends, like Maggie and I are (were? *sniffles* I miss her, too)... and now we're all split up all over... well, Monty and I are still within five minutes drive of each other, but she had plans this fall to be up in Madison for college, which she cancelled.
So now, I don't know. I think I need a movie weekend this weekend. And lots of ThunderCats episodes. Got through disk one last Saturday. Considering its been about two years since I watched any of them, there have been a lot of 'oh, right, forgot about that' instances. Plus, I never went and got myself a pirated set from ebay, so it was just the couple dozen I taped from cartoon network, the one I had from the 80s, and a few of the 'real' videos Mark found at some video store going out of business thing for me. So, planning to go through disk two tomorrow. But, movie weekend sounds good, too. Mark's got off the whole weekend, a rare thing, I think he may have finagled to be off knowing I'm going to be a bit down with TJ off playing war now.
Well, enough of me and my virtual sighing. Must get on to J, K, and L of the elf-abet.
