-Yesterday-

6:00 am - woke up, the usual
7:15 am - spun out of control on road; was like bumper cars on ice but just me; made it to work okay
9:00 am - made decision to finish Cross the Sea TODAY
1:00 pm - had some delicious eggplant, and chocolate pudding that was not properly mixed; adopted two plot bunnies in the break room
4:40 pm - forgot boots at work; go back to retrieve
4:50 pm - HIT DEER.
5:00 pm - Assess damage in parking lot of some restaurant with bad lighting while shakily talking to Mark on phone
5:10 pm - Call mom to find out how long mechanic is open; no physical damage to car, deer ran away (hoping bambi is okay... gah... was crossing the Milwaukee River and there are no street lights, so it ran off and I didn't see where to) but lights are not working on driver side front except for main headlight. Grr.
5:54 pm - make it back into town. decide to go to mechnanix tomorrow
7:00 pm - eat pizza
8:55 pm - still determined to finish story
9:00 pm - get email. blink a lot. need massage. still determined to finish Cross the Sea! mumble about determination as Mark's 'magic fingers' technique puts Zhie to sleep, thereby ruining all hopes for CTS to be finished by yesterday.

and now... I shall eat a tangerine and be happy.
