Mark just came over and said 'I was told you were somebody special' and I said 'who told you that?' and he said, 'your gramma did' and then he told me some other stuff she told him about me, all really nice things, that i never knew about

so now i'm kinda crying and stuff

it sucks not to have any grandparents anymore

when gramma passed away, i was 22.. i turned 10 a week after grandpa died.. and i never knew my mom's parents because she was disowned when i was only a year old (i was the reason for it) and her mom actually had died way back when she was only 14

so, if you have some grandparents, go hug them for me

and while you're at it, parents, too

*nods* can't forget moms and dads

thanks

Oh! It feels so good to write some smutty het. Yes, it does.

Erestor/Gladders. Valinor. Winter. In a Barn. Keep Reading for More.

It only took me over a year to finish it! Dedicated to Laura, for all the pokings!

I got up around 10:30 today, managed to do three loads of laundry, chat with Ruth for a bit online, play around with my website, cut out the materials for the dress (finally!) as well as shower and talk to the neighbor.

What I neglected to do to this point was eat anything.

You see, power of persuation or something, Ruth glomped me by offering cookies just as I was about to go get breakfast. Somehow, my mind actually must have registered that I was eating real cookies, not virtual ones.

That's just creepy.

I think I need some nachos.

In other news, bunnies, bunnies, bunnies. Spent four hours of the time in between cutting the pattern out. Had help from Elladan and Erestor, while Elrond asked a lot of questions, and Gladders and Glorfindel just sort of hung around. Oy, vey, twin plot bunnies from all that. Like I need more. *shoves them into the hutch, wanders off to find Mexican foods...*

Fabric
Fabric

I think I have finally got something here, although it's all still in a form that looks nothing like a dress, but trust me, it's coming along well. Tomorrow I will pick up where I left off; right now I don't want to risk waking anyone else up by heading into the basement where the big table is. I'm pleased how it is going, and also, that this will be much cooler to walk about in than the original brocade i was going to use.

Oh, that's a scan of a bit of remnant of the fabric after the pattern was cut. There wasn't enough fabric to get the sleeves out of this too, but the gal at the cutting counter told me that I'd be better off using something lighter and gauzy for the sleeves to make it cooler. If that doesn't work, I know who to blame! Mwahaha!
