So, which is more amusing, the fact nearly everything is Erasure/Andy Bell, or the fact that Britney made the list? Or that David Lee didn't?

In other news, checked out the new pet store today. Uber expensive, and in the one tank I looked in, they had a bala shark dying in the front part of it, and some of the fish looked extremely cramped in their little two or five gallon holding tanks.

Having a bit of trouble with the big work tank. The zebra danios have been dying one by one, and I can't figure why. Water is fine, but I did a partial change today before I left anyhow. Ah, and I moved more furniture around. *snickers* The poor clerk who works most of the time with me, she says she can now 'hear the wheels turning' in my head when I'm about to embark on a sudden project.

Today, with twenty minutes left...

me: *looking thoughtfully at the periodical shelves*

her: what are you thinking now?

me: i'm... nothing... *glancing at clock*

her: what are we doing now?

me: well... hey, so, what do you think about moving some shelves? we've got, what, twenty minutes?

her: fifteen

me: coooool... can you make the closing announcement, and i'll meet you over there...

i'm so lucky my staff loves me or at least pretends to, heh heh

honestly, i am lucky to have such a great staff... true, i got to hand pick one of the six, but it's pretty lucky to get five awesome people in your crew with no hand in it. New person starting on Wednesday; that should be the end of it for this semester at least in terms of new people.

I do miss 'Mel'. Dark and I called the guy I worked with at the other campus Mel, since he was the Melpomaen to my Erestor, and of everything over there, I miss him. Dammit, I even miss his crazyass evolutionary ideas. *sighs* we just had a really good working relationship, and i miss him (as well as our Harry Potter and LOTR discussions)

Alright, enough of that. This is my last nano-free weekend, so I better use it wisely.
