It's time to get rid of the couch. I have many, many fond memories of said couch, I really don't want to get rid of it, but right now it's fallen apart so much that we have two boxes of AOL CDs packed under the one part where the metal wires deteriorated so much it sinks to the floor. Also, some seams are splitting and the stuffing is all saggy. When we do get rid of it, I'm stripping the fabric and I think the wood of some of it might be salvagable. We still have the loveseat, which is in really good condition. I think we're going to get a couple of recliners instead of another couch. Besides, it will be easier to match two chairs to a loveseat than a couch to a loveseat.

I should perhaps mention, the fabric is a fairly bold white, red, blue, and grey pattern. With wood trim. I wrote a huge chunk of the nano novel this year on that couch.

Which leads to something else. I sit here like many of the previous nights trying to make myself write. 'I will finish the Gondolin story' I keep saying. I have gone through the rest of the story many times, just daydreaming it through. But.. I don wanna write it. Fin dies. Duh. And if you didn't see that coming... well, c'mon folks. Everyone dies. Everyone dies, except for Erestor, and it sucks to be him. I never wanted to write that, but I'm too deep in now to stop.

I enjoy Seinfeld so much more now that I'm an adult. So much more.

Crap.. I'm getting a plot bunny... and still I haven't finished Athos' ficlet..

She may get two now.

I need to finish Analu's story. Because I need to know how things end.

*pets bunny*

I am so, so tired. I love my staff. I love my library.

Actually, I have one staff member who has yet to start yet. Replacement for someone who, er, is no longer there. But I expect she'll be awesome, too.

I love me pirate crew. Hee hee.

Work is just beyond fun when you can get everyone else on staff to pretend a little, too.

Budgets suck. They suck ass.

*watches bunny hop onto shoulder*

Got some new tetras today.

Guess that's all.

Sleepytime now.

Is it sad that I'm really looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow so that I can catalog a bunch of books that I wanted to get done today but didn't? But until then, I have an issue of toyfare theatre to keep me busy.

Oh, right and sleep.
