Vacation: Day One
May. 20th, 2007 12:25 amWoke up around 10am with kitty on my leg. Went back to sleep.
Woke up around 11am, kitty still there. Moved kitty to gain more blankets. Kitty crawled back on legs. Went back to sleep.
Woke up around Noon, needed to use the potty. Stayed in bed as long as possible. Ran to bathroom. Found out toilet decided to break and sink is plugged up.
Played on computer, ignored bathroom stuff.
Picked up lunch from KFC. Had nummy mashed potato bowls. Sandwich a little dry, didn't finish it.
Played more on the computer.
Tried to fix stereo speakers. Failed. Contemplated going to find new stereo or speakers or both. Not happy.
Kickedboxed for half an hour, had to listen to CD on computer as stereo was not cooperating. Listened to Queen while kickboxing.
Showered so as not to offend anyone after kickboxing.
Fixed toilet.
Somewhat accidentally fixed stereo speakers. Happy that money need not be spent on new stereo or new speakers.
More computer playing.
Went shopping. Took groceries to mother-in-law. Bought peaches, avacado, scallops, imitation crab meat, portabello mushrooms, cottage cheese, and lots of other things that are less fun to say, like celery. Actually, that's fun to say, too. Laundry detergent.. hmm, also fun to say. Kleenex.. eh, moving right along..
Picked up dinner from McDonalds. Had planned to make tempura, but would require doing extra work. Tempura will be made tomorrow instead. Had vanilla pudding also.
Watched Top Gun with Mark while having dinner. Had never seen it before. Enjoyed movie. Didn't enjoy Goose dying. Like Anthony Edwards. Was not happy when Dr. Green died on ER, either. Reminded that he doesn't die in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Will have to watch that again at some point. Really love that movie so it shouldn't be a problem. Aloha, Mr. Hand! Pretty sure he was driving the pace car for the Indy 500 one year. Anthony Edwards, not Mr. Hand.
Playing on the computer again. Meant to do something more productive. Haven't. Always tomorrow.
Still don't know what fanfiction to write about. F-list not so helpful.
Taped Saturday Night Live. Trying to decide whether to watch that, or put on another episode of Drawn Together. Maybe Kids in the Hall. Can smell strawberry licorice. Elf mood theme seems to have disappeared. Need to find new mood theme. Should probably go load one of the SayAye ones, but will probably get lazy and just go find something somewhere else instead.
