Last Week's Friday Five
May. 31st, 2007 11:39 amLet's move onto something happier, shall we?
the friday five for May 25th...
1. What is your favorite board game? Ooo, I think maybe I'll have to go with Monopoly, though the DVD LOTR trivial pursuit is a lot of fun, too
2. What is your favorite card game? Solitaire on my own, but crazy 8s with other people... I remember especially one night I couldn't get to sleep, so my dad and I sat in the hallway between the bedrooms and he taught me how to play Crazy 8s
3. Do you like to play games on the computer or on a gaming system? I like the simulation type games; zoo tycoon, pharaoh, roller coaster tycoon, sim city
4. If so, what is your favorite game to play? probably... the original roller coaster tycoon, with pharaoh a close second
5. Do you like to play games with people or to play them alone? I like to play games with people who know we're playing a game, not with people who take the Game of Life board game with the same degree of seriousness they take real life... not with people who, when you sink their battleship, believe they have actually lost a war... i remember playing a game of chess with someone once who threw an absolute tantrum when i beat him... because of that, i now have an electronic chess board that i just play against a computer
