INTERNATIONAL DAY OF SLASH // TARNIN AUSTA

Well, first off, a happy day to everyone!

Secondly, a very very happy IDOS to those slashers of the world.

Thirdly, and quite honestly the whole canon-ness of it is off, not only in the accounting of the Elven calendar, but also in the general spring to summer of it, but to make things easier for myself and to actually be able to remember it (though inaccurately, but to recall it inaccurately is better than not at all), happy Tarnin Austa! (For me, it works for today, since midyear for me is also the start of the 'new' school year the way the college operates, so technically this is the beginning of the 2007-08 year today, but enough on that)

I will admit, I wasn't silent from midnight to daybreak last night (except while sleeping), but at 12:09 I did acknowledge the day with a moment of reflection on Gondolin. And then I went back to watching cartoons.

So, with the Gates of Summer here (somewhat erroneously, but enough on that, it's a chance to celebrate nonsense, right?)... today is now for slash.

I am writing these all today, btw. None of this is pre-planned. I did look at the list the other day, but there's only one (the erestor/boromir one) that I did any thinking on...
