-_-

I'll be writing something very much elogated when I return to Wisconsin.

But a few tidbits.

When we checked in, we found out that the room we were given was the room exactly opposite of Dark and her Snooky.

Of all the rooms in all the hotels in all of Atlanta and all the thousands and thousands, WHAT are the CHANCES?!

THAT has been SWEET.

We did not get keys to the track room until Friday, the first day of the con.
Exactly 30 minutes before the start of the convention.

I spent two hours talking to security, sitting outside the room (poor Nui, she sat outside of it the full two hours, and she's not even on staff!), waiting, GLARING, in full counselor style. Grr. Arg. This meant, very fast decorating, and technically, some still not done.

After that, coming back to room, prepping for later, getting it all set up, then taking a nap (much needed)... and almost oversleeping my first panel.

Correction: I skipped out of the first panel I was supposed to be in. I would not have made it. So no pro authors panel for this cheetah. Did Speak Friend and Enter... and when everyone grabbed a break, only six people returned. So... we cut it short. Also, good, time was needed to reset the room. It was a really, really fun panel, though. Wisconsinites Unite! We had quite the group there.

Bree... we went for only a half hour, so I could video some of it, and then headed out.

Had we stuck around for 30 minutes...

*hangs head in shame*

There was a medical emergency at 11pm. Exactly the sort of thing I got trained for so that I could handle these things if they happened. Dude had a heart attack. CPR was performed, but no one could find a defib kit... and... I don't know past that. That was all Jean could tell me when I ran into her at the hotel at 2:30 am. So, I'm up, feeling awful about it.

Fuck. -_-

Well, I need to sleep, even if I have to force myself to. Or else, I'll be useless tomorrow.

Things... are going well, and yet, not so.. if that makes sense.

Amusing sidenote: Playing 'Who Am I?', I ended up as Erestor and Mark ended up with Glorfindel. We laughed about it; then he knocked on the bathroom door later and said, 'You ready to go yet, Erestor?' so I answered with 'Just about, Fin'.

...weird.
