Woohoo!

I've got our Van Halen Tickets! Yay! Middle section, and approximately 22 rows back! (I know, it sounds like it's far back, however, this is at a huge ass place where the first eight rows were via auction only, and is probably about five times the size of where we saw Erasure (we were about 6th or 7th row there, I believe) And, there's a platform that curves around out into the stage area, so at some point, I should be only about fourteen rows away from Glorfindel... er, I mean, David Lee Roth...

Mark has reminded me, this is the first concert where we're going to see someone twice. We saw DLR with his band at Summerfest two years ago (there, we got up to row 6, however, Summerfest is set up with a big gate thing blocking the stage from the people in the audience, so it was more like 12 rows back, plus we had to stand on rickety, metal bleachers with drunks all around.

The only thing I wish they hadn't done was made the tickets available right at THIS time of year. Guh. Hate to see my credit card bills in January...
