politicians, invadin' mah state...

This time of year every fourth year, I'd normally be off to see someone talkin' the talk somewhere. I've heard Cheney speak (and had nasty things yelled at me from people protesting outside); I met Clinton when he was governor way back when (and somewhere there are blackmail photos); I worked on the Dole campaign (good times, good times). But this illness and the weather says otherwise, so no rallying this time around.

At least I'm still getting to answer the phone polls... that's always fun... well, I think it is, at least...

So.. going to go in for a few hours today, and then tomorrow cancelled going to my Thursday morning meeting since the only appointment I could get to see the doc was tomorrow morning. Blah. Hate waiting, but obviously, I'm not the only one who has been sick.

Gotta love these commercials that always come out and totally bash the current president, as if everything that happened over the past eight years was their fault alone. Yes, they have a lot of power, but there's two other branches of government everyone seems to forget about...

And now, more time for resting. Naps are good.
