dreamelf...

So, in the final hours of it all, I'm going through and deleting all the subdomains and everything on the server before it blocks off the files. Last night, I deleted all of the email accounts.

It's a little sad, in some ways. Three years ago today, Laura and I gleefully registered dreamelf.com. I still have the domain... I tucked it away into my queencheetah account. I'll be revamping things over the next year so that queencheetah is completely ThunderCats once again and LittleBalrog hosts all of the elf-related things. DreamElf will be a redirect, I just don't know if it will need to be set up with qc or lb.

I almost feel like I should get someone to hold my hand through this, but I've just gotta go do it. I've tried twice to make the full site backup work, but no dice, so I'm hoping that my manual grabbing of everything worked. *crosses fingers*

And, I did manage (finally) to rescue the contents of the dreamelf archive last night. It was a fight with the database to get to the info I wanted, but now I have the files and the database as an excel spreadsheet, meaning things can be re-added soon.

Part two of this project is actually to revamp and gather all of Mei's, Mark's, and my art and a couple other people's... Siesta, if you see this, I keep getting interupted before I find your email, but you're one of those people! DreamWeaver's been weird but kind in coming up with a new home/gallery. I like what it's doing. If only I could understand what it's doing....
