adventures in cataloging
if it's a book about a m/f couple, it gets numbered 646.77 -- dating and choice of mate
if it's a book about a m/m couple, it gets numbered 305.38 -- aspects of sociology of men
the 300s themselves are typically the melting pot of everything that's bad... every social issue currently being discussed, and a few that should have been figured out by now... i can't imagine putting a book on dating over there just because it's not your 'typical' type of couple
i'm putting 'Boyfriend 101: A Gay Guy's Guide to Dating' at 646.77 and going to see what needs to be pulled out of 305.38
because. i say so.
so there. fuck you, dewey decimal system.
EDIT:
f/f is supposed to go in 306.76 -- sexual orientation
to give you a frame of reference on this, 306.74 is prostitution
