1. How did you get involved in the fandom? What was your first place/haven within the fandom? I had just spent a hiatus from fandom life while I was getting my masters and spending a lot of time with my gramma who had cancer. I had really focused on school and gramma those two years -- plus, I was newly married, so there was that, too. My sister Maggie was already in the fandom, and I didn't get into the fandom until after seeing the second movie and being pissed that 'they killed the arrogant elf'. I really didn't know a whole lot about elves at that point, but I learned pretty fast. So my first stop was a place called Haldir's Harem/aka Haldir's Whores... and Lothlorien was the first realm I dropped into.
