Christmas update later, but first...
Dec. 26th, 2009 04:06 am...there's a big kitty in the back yard.
And by big kitty, something that makes paw prints a little more than two inches round, and a span of about three to three and a half feet between front and back legs.
And it basically looks like it was in one of the pine trees in back, jumped down, and walked into the yard between the garage and shed, down the driveway, and off yonder.
There's woods nearby, and I do remember when I was a teenager seeing a cougar-like animal on the beach once.
Between this and the hawk that swooped down in the backyard the other day, I am so not letting Harley out (even though he's always on the leash). Vets and pet stores will be the only outdoor visiting that gingerboy gets to do.
