getting muses to shut up

My May OEAM challenge fic was never finished. It's still sitting unfinished.

Because I wanted to make sure I finished the June challenge fic.

Which, as of this moment, isn't finished, because some Elves haven't figured out yet how to get to the end of the story without asking questions and making things longer than they need to be.

5,900+ words, and they just need to get me to the end, and now, we're talking to Turgon.

I'm sorry, Erestor's talking to Turgon.

And threatening to tie him up and leave him with Zee isn't helping.

I know, I know, I should be happy to be so lucky to have such talkative muses.

I think I'll write a drabble for the next challenge.

damn, i suck

i'm seven thousand words into this thing, i totally lost the ending, it's just dragging out now and I don't know how i can possibly end it to make it sound sane, and i think it jumped the shark when the body paint turned out to be edible... and if it didn't at that point, i'm sure it did at some point

crap... i'm like 0 for 2 on these challenges now

i don't even know what to do with this thing... seriously...

i had motivation to finish, but with an hour and five minutes to go, i give up

i'm not even going to look at july...
