I think it's pretty cool having a name that ends in 'R'. I mean, not a whole lot of them do. And it doesn't really rhyme with anything. (perhaps in some way the gravitation towards the name erestor... ends in the same letter, has the same number of syllables...)
What is your guaranteed weeping movie?
Seven Samurai. What? Okay, explanation -- it's the part where the rice is spilled and the guy starts scurrying around picking up the individual grains of rice. It's a very powerful scene, it makes you realize just how freakin' good one has it, compared to the characters in the movie.
What is the one thing you like to do alone?
Dance... I mean, it's nice with other people, but by myself is quite enjoyable as well

nothingness and worms

YES!!! (I love this place... everything is so... flamable...)

I don't know quite her fame level, but until I switched campuses, I did work with Melinda Myers, author and famed gardener as well as promo gal for Stein Gardens & Gifts. Very cheerful lady.
Describe your bed
it's queen size, the mattress is going to need replacement soon; the headboard is also a bookshelf with piles of beanie babies on the top shelf and, obviously, books on the main shelf (including the hobbit and the reader's guide to the silm) On my side, currently, is a quilt with pics of rhinos lions and giraffes and elephants on it and also a light blue sheet and a comforter with golden flowers that look more like heraldic symbols tolkien might have used instead of real flowers; on Mark's side is a deep purple comforter and dark blue sheet... I have no pillowcase on my pillow, and an extra pillow above it for Harley to sleep on, while Mark must have pillowcases, which are blue and black... we have to have different blankies 'cause he likes to be tucked in totally like a cocoon, while I like things loose and hang my feets out the end
What type of character would you play in a movie?
the one with the awesome super powers or the one who is really rather indifferent to the drama going on around her
What do you carry with you at all times?
like, when i'm traveling, or out and aboutish? cell phone, wallet, keys, various pieces of paper and postits with notes shoved in my pocket, 2 flash drives (one work, one play) a pen or pencil, and usually my driving glasses, too.... and often, i've shoved all these things in my pockets
How do you eat an apple?
i have to kinda eat it sideways... when i was about ten, i fell and broke off the bottom of both of my front teeth playing football, and since then i've been real careful about eating anything, but especially hard or crunchy things... so i bite into things using the side of my mouth... this also makes me eat slower than most people
Do you prefer to stand out or blend in?
depends... if i can be the leader, stand out, but if not, then... sneak away
What kind of first impression do you think you give people?
i think i have this timidness at first (had a teacher who used to call me 'mouse' for that reason) and probably seem fairly typical librarian, but once i get to know someone then i can be comfortable enough to be open and silly and such

speaking, either in person or telepathically... i hate email and telephone... IM is okay as is chat rooms, but i really dislike email and telephone calls

not really... school gym class they made us shower in a group naked, so it sort of desensitized us that way... plus being a nudist i guess makes it difficult to be shy about that sort of thing... i'm usually more worried the other person will be offended, so i don't oft do such in front of others unless i'm sure they won't freak

sleeping, i have to set up an aquarium in the morrow

What is the last gift you gave someone?
i don't know, maybe the shirt and hippo for my dad for his birthday? i'm not so much for big gifts, i'm more the just doing lots of nice little things lots that don't come with bows and ribbons in bright colored paper... like the fact my coworker has been having trouble with her diet so i've been making lunch for us these last couple weeks to make sure she's eating healthy and 'cause her second job is as a waitress so she works from 7am to 2am some times and the last thing she needs is to have to worry about packing a lunch, or when the furniture guys came and had an extra shelf going to the office next door and asking if they wanted it instead of just sending it back since it was already here and all... y'know, it's just such an easy thing to be nice, and it makes not only yourself feel good, but the other person too

helping Dad write his book... yup. He's an accountant, it was a text book, and he needed fake names for the examples in it. I was about four or five, he sat me down with a phone book, and told me to open it to one section, pick out a first name, then to another, pick out a last name, then write them down or tell them to my Mum... and that's how he got the names for his word problems in his first book ^_^

i put my hands in my pockets... i do this because i have twitches and shakes, and when i'm nervous especially my hands shake... this is actually because of the reyes, and the fact that i've had twitches and ticks and things ever since, but that the shakiness of my hands increases incredibly when i'm nervous, so i shove my hands in my pockets... when i lecture, i tend to have one hand in my pocket and one hand constantly in motion to hide it

i'm not a bar person, but i only really enjoy strawberry daquiris

gosh, it's probably all the slightly dirty jokes my boss makes.. y'know, the sort of jokes that someone with a bug up their ass would call sexual harrassment, but since i'm a perv and have a sense of humor, such things are quite amusing to me... the sorts of stuff that would be like things that might get said in a chat group or on IM joking around... i sometimes wonder if he has access to the stuff in my gutter, and that's how he knows it's okay to make such jokes
If you could speak any language, which language would you speak?
i would love to have learned how to speak Polish when my grampa was still alive; it would have been so cool to have had a better connection with him that way
