Writer's Meme: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of the top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
This is going to be slightly difficult, since one of the favorite things I have written I actually wrote under my pseudonym, and therefore, it defeats the purpose of having another identity if you reveal it *snickers* So... there's something not on this list that should be, but, oh well...
Now, to pick just five... these are not in any particular order at all...
1. Unforgettable (WIP)

Although I'm still working on it, it's just my current favorite to dabble on and to reread and such. I love Gondolin.
2. Fluff'n'Stuff -- especially part 19, Candles

I was a little bit unsure when I started to write this (which, I started while in an airport, actually, I think I was on my way to Denver at the time). Once the momentum got going, though, things just flowed, and though I never thought I'd end up writing something with so much religion/spirituality in it, I'm glad I did. There are some ways that I was a lot like Glorfindel in that particular series, feeling so lost, but not knowing where to go.
3. Stargazing // Always Tell Me First // Brightest Star in the Heavens

These are companion pieces, so I can't really separate them. I like Elros. He needs more stories. I like to think that part of how Elrond turned out like he did had a lot to do with big brother Elros. And, I think Elrond's hard exterior covers a snuggly, squishy l'il elf
4. Erestor's Weakness

I think part of what I love about this one is that it was written back when I was the only one who knew Erestor was Haldir's father. It's also the only time that Erestor holds Haldir as a child, so for me, there's much more meaning to it than for most people just reading it. Some of the formatting is wrong, I just noticed... oh well.
5. Friendly Wagers (WIP)

They always say you remember your first, for good or bad, better or worse. The biggest reason I'm here is actually because of my sister Maggie, at one time an Orlando Bloom afficianado.... She and I collaborated on Friendly Wagers; it still needs to be finished, I know... gah, I should really dig it out... I just noticed only the first chapter is up on Pounce... what the heck... we were seven chapters in, now I really need to find my notes... Maggie's back to Buffy and I think she does QAF, too, these days...
I'm adding a sixth one on here -- The Good Archer. That one was written with my other sister, Monty, who is an HP & Final Fantasy fanfic author. Runs in the family, the fanfics, lol. She and I wrote it while running a booth at the local YMCA-- all it took was overhearing a brief conversation between a kid and his grandfather, and the whole story unraveled before us. http://pounce.dreamelf.com/viewstory.php?sid=105
