Not so random

I've basically come to accept that certain scholarly things will only happen/align, when I'm mentally ready to tackle them.

To explain; a professor came in, wanting to read a selection of poems by Yeats next week Friday in the library. I'm doing the flyers now, and I went to look through a collection of poems by Yeats to see what would be appropriate to quote for the flyer. I knew nothing of Yeats, save what I had already forgotten from literature classes.

It is rapidly coming to my attention, that if ever it was mentioned somewhere in the critical works about Tolkien that I have read that he may have been drawing a bit from Yeats for some things, I completely missed it. Or skipped that page. Or something.

I now have forty minutes to finish a flyer I started three hours ago because I skimming lines turns to reading poems and turns to revelations. Even just certain titles make me go 'aha!'

Alright, that's enough scholarly stuff for now. In other news, I loaded a bunch of stuff to Pounce! that people were poking me about, so now I think I'm nearly caught up with things.
