This is the trouble with not really knowing much about LJ... my poor, poor friends have to suffer through my learning curves... and what a curve it is... let's see if this does anything...

Suppose I should really be in bed, having to lecture at 8am... blarg...
Tomorrow, bowling. Tonight, world domination.
Speaking of.. I had a dream about the Feanorians last night, most of it centuring around Maglor.
You know you're into the fandom when you dream about it... you know you're hardcore fandom when you dream about the more obscure characters. Moreso when the dreams are purely fantasy adventure following a canon storyline without any sexual encounters whatsoever. It was focused on Maglor recalling the burning of the ships. Very sad, in some ways. Good cinematography. I always have that in my dreams. I dream in color, but this one was dulled, like Maglor was dimly recalling what happened.
This isn't the first time recently either that I've had a Tolkienesque dream. Had one with Gildor in it the other day; and a week ago or so had one that, again, was on a scholarly vein not a fanon thing or a smut thing, but it seemed symbolic and under I go looking stuff up, going to wait on sharing on that.
Can't get away even if I go to sleep...
