When I was in middle school, during the days when I had my first inklings that I wanted to be involved in politics, we held a mock election.
Amid laughter from my peers as well as the faculty of the school, I wrote in Tommy Thompson for president.
So, let's see... that was, about 15 years ago.

If he makes the Republican candidate position, this could be the first time in a Loooong time that a republican takes Wisconsin in the election.
