What will happen with Gildor?

That is a very good question... he's probably one of the few I haven't entirely worked out yet. However, I do know that, if ever I go back and write the story that would have been titled 'Little Balrog', that when the 'great evil' (the last balrog) was discovered, that Glorfindel, thinking he's been wrong in hoping for Erestor all that time, basically thinks, okay, he's been with Gildor for nearly the entire third age, can't hurt to ask. And Gildor says, it's been fun, see ya in Valinor. So, Glorfindel goes out to fight this other balrog, and meanwhile Erestor finds out what Gildor said so HE goes out to fight the balrog (and meanwhile, there are OTHER elves out searching for the balrog... poor balrog doesn't stand a chance...) Gildor then crosses the sea, and I lost track of him after that.

I did have an idea regarding something end of second age or beginning of first age where Gildor is being an ass and Erestor tells him this and calls him a bastard, and Glorfindel gets really pissed and tells off Erestor for it [for those confused, in my AU, Gildor is Finrod's son, illegitimately, from Amarie -- you can glean some of that from here http://www.merp.com/essays/MichaelMartinez/michaelmartinezsuite101essay104 instead of my explaining it, with the addition that, as elves have more than one name, Finrod in my mind is also Inglor, and then father to Gildor Inglorion... but I digress], but I have mostly scrapped that idea.

If we're talking about what happens to him that he goes from being in Doriath with Halmir and Finduilas and the gang, to wandering, it's because of the attack on Doriath, leading to the deaths of most of his friends, and he decides it is better not to live in a realm, but to keep moving, since then the enemy has more trouble finding you. So begins Gildor's self-exile.

When can I read it?

If I knew that... How about, before I turn 40, I'll get it written up. That's attainable, right?

Have you decided what story will you write now that the PPBs are completed?

Yes, and no. Personally, I have three things going - the fantasy one you know of, and then I have two fiction ideas popping into my head - one that bases off of the idea Maggie and I talked about once which would be titled 'Stealin' the Baby Jesus' (it's not as bad as it sounds, but doesn't it make you wonder? and another one that I've mulled over a bit that would be a 'Christian fiction' book, more or less. Talk about a spectrum...

Tolkien-wise, I want to finish 'And Morgoth Trembled'; I want to finish 'For You I'll Cross the Sea'; I want to finish 'Friendly Wagers'. Now with the bunnies done, they refer to things in FW that never were posted, and that should be done, because it confuses everyone that Haldir and Legolas had this relationship that never gets mentioned, and, well, I have it, hidden away, all I need is a couple of silly chapters, but writing men and hobbits is hard sometimes...

HOWEVER... and we'll say a little bunny told me... expect that sequel to the purple plot bunnies to be out by EASTER, a time when people HUNT for EGGS... I need a suitable title for it, though... I have a pair of peacocks here, but I don't know if I'll have to go back to the drawing board on this.

What do you think of men who wear sock and sandals to wash their cars out in the street?

Depends - are they wearing shorts and do they have nice legs to show off? Seriously, I think it's a little silly looking, but if they want to get their socks wet.... personally, I'd be barefoot.

Arghhhh now I have more than 4.....

Hey, I have the time, ask away!
