This is strange...

I'm sitting here, with a file open for the next installment of the pink bunnies... I've got the next half dozen figured out, with special guest appearances by Maedhros, Gildor, Fingon, and Caranthir... who are all playing poker in the kitchen, at the moment, Thranduil nearly bit them when it was suggested they all take turns on the playstation... anyhow...
Trouble is, I keep thinking 'writing's good, but what i really want to do is kickbox... if it wasn't so late...' Egads, what the hell is wrong with me? I despised gym classes, hated them so, did whatever I could to get out of them. I suppose because that was organized team crap, and I do better on my own. But still. There's something very perverse about me enjoying the addition of exercise into the daily routine. Even when I was in college and learned this stuff, I skipped a couple karate classes, a few of the ballroom dancing sessions.
I've gone from half an hour to forty minutes to fifty-five minutes today. It's not all kickboxing exactly, there is stretching involved, and weight lifting and things like that. Ballet. Which you wouldn't think has practical life applications, but for someone who is naturally a klutz, it actually helps.
However, it's midnight, and I don't think the neighbors would appreciate it. Otherwise I would.
Have to lecture tomorrow. First one in... months. Not sure I want to, but, such is life. Oh! And! I found a plushie black squirrel today! I feel all Mirkwoody now. I shall name him Rudolph. Few of you will understand that...
