^_^ Thanks! I like Glorfindel to be smart... it seems that he is in the canon, at least... I mean, would Elrond really invite an idiot to his council? Probably not.
The blades glowing... I wanted it to be someone from Gondolin -- well, it had to be, really, considering the only swords we encounter in the canon, are, according to Gandalf, from Gondolin... plus, I wanted it to be more 'scientific' than 'magic'... and Glorfindel was practically jumping up and down waving his hand in the air to volunteer to help, lol.
