whew... that was close...
Got our tickets to see Rush... almost didn't, 'cause at first there was no seats at all in the first section (wtf?) and then for the second section we kept coming up with crappy tickets. Then for a while we got the 'nothing available' crap... finally had a pair come up almost dead center but back about 35 rows back, but on the aisle. Aisle seats good... easy for getting to the restrooms and getting to the beer and so on... very important to think about in these situations...
I was kinda going back and forth about them this morning, but then I reminded myself, if I'm not going to Dragon*Con, that's about $2000 that's not getting spent this year, so buying tickets to this is nowhere near what we'd have spent for airfare, hotel, and all the rest in Atlanta. (The $2000 is conservative, actually, I cringe to think what we really were spending down there...)
