A PSA, and answers to the questions

I was alerted to the following via Purrsia's LJ...
In addition, FanFiction.Net would like to address a growing problem. For whatever reason, some writers feel it's okay to copy-n-paste musical lyrics they have not written into their fiction. If you did not write it, do not post it. This has always been our policy. Please remove these entries immediately to avoid account closure.
Ah, that sucks mightily. It also makes me want to get Dream Elf going faster... I forsee many an orphaned fic soon...
I wonder... IF I had posted 'Rock Me Gently' over there, would I have to pull it? (Not that I would... ever since having to yank all my NC17 stuff, I figured they'd do more stupid stuff, and only posted enough stuff to entice people to come over to the darkside and leap onto my own site, but I digress).
Okay, and then, onto the questions... I had two quizzie poos last week, and I realized that a) people weren't getting such good scores and b) people might have seen the not good scores, be afeared to take it, and ran away.
So, if you want to take them, links are below, and below that, the answers and explanations.

Congrats to Charlie, she scored a 60. And the category is... Random Stuff About Zhie
If Zhie were an animagus, she'd be a...
a. Canary
b. Bunny
c. Cheetah
d. Flamingo
I grew up with ThunderCats. I so wanted to be Cheetara, and lucky me, being the only girl on the playground who liked the show, I got to play all the female leads I wanted. But, even better, I loved the pet cheetah Mumm-ra had.
When Zhie was in college, her room looked like...
a. a regular dorm room, complete with mini-fridge
b. something from the 70s
c. the jungle from 'The Lion King'
d. someone threw up pink and purple, with unicorns and glow-in-the-dark stars
Again, with the big cats, I love big, wild cats. However, I had not seen Lion King until I was in college - but when I did, I fell in love, I sang the songs all the time (Monty and I discuss how the hierarchy of The Lion King could be transferred to Mirkwood, except, Oropher didn't have an evil brother). The 'd' answer was what my room looked like from age ten all the way through middle school. Monty had that room for a while, and left it that way. In between, my parents had it, and my dad got a kick out of the glow-in-dark stuff all over. Maggie had the 70s room, and TJ's room always looked like a dorm. Very cozy.
What is Zhie's favorite food?
a. Strawberries
b. Lasagna
c. Peaches
d. Chocolate Milk
Although I tend to have a bottle of chocolate milk as I drive to work in the mornings, I love my mother's lasagna (she's learned to make it veggie-style for me now), and peaches are yummy and, um, versatile... strawberries are my favorite stand-alone. I am also very tempted by a good slice of blueberry cheesecake or a pint of custard, but I could live on strawberries. Good thing Glorfindel is okay with sharing them.
Zhie refers to her '88 Chevy as...
a. Asfaloth
b. The War Wagon
c. The Rust Bucket
d. The Thundertank
Couple times I entertained painting it to look like the 'tank, especially all those years RPGing Panthro, but I held back. I have shouted 'Noro Lim, Asfaloth' a couple times, but when it comes to refering to my grocery getter, it's the War Wagon, as named by TJ. I think my mum called the car Betsy when it was hers, but this car is a boy. It just is, trust me.
Back in high school, Zhie was told that her 'dream job', according to state-certified tests and surveys, was to be a...
a. teacher
b. librarian
c. doctor
d. farmer
Farmer in the Dell, Farmer in the Dell... I considered the other three at one point or another (guess 'b' is obvious), but when I took all of these online tests and the career things at the end of the state tests, it always came out as 'farmer' (according to the state -- according to the military, I'm supposed to be an architect). I still recall being handed my results in AP History and turning around to the class and saying 'Farmer? What the fuck?' and even having the teacher laugh. Same year I first published any writing, had a couple plays produced, went to Badger State for the government conference, swept through the music awards, tested out of English for college, etc, etc, I'm told to go be a farmer. As Maggie put it: Huh. *shrug* Meh.
So, in his long line of careers, Erestor got to be a farmer at the beginning.
Zhie's at-work betta, Legolas, is scared of...
a. Gimli the catfish
b. Little Balrog the snail
c. himself
d. all of the above
(I was obviously grasping for things to ask) We had to take the snail out of the tank. Every time it stuck a tentacle out, Legolas would hide in fear of it. Made for some great tentacle jokes, cause it was right around the time of the Screw Yule thing. Poor fishy.
Which of the following will Zhie NOT participate in because she claims to look like a complete idiot?
a. Ballroom Dancing
b. Kickboxing
c. Ballet
d. Ice Skating
I suck being on ice. Bad for someone up north here, eh? Remember Bambi, when he tries to walk, and his feet get tangled? That's so me. Ballroom Dancing... took it as an elective in college, loved it, love to watch it... Kickboxing... same deal... Ballet... was put in classes back when I was five... we thought my knees were hurt because of that, but years later, I'm thinking more and more (as is my doctor) that my health issues are more likely due to having Reyes when I was younger. Anyhow, prima ballerina I will never be, but I've gone back to it a little, in the privacy of my own home. The cats think it's great fun to play 'grab the crazy lady's feet'.
It's Saturday morning and Zhie's sitting in front of the computer. What breakfast cereal is Zhie eating?
a. Lucky Charms
b. Count Chocula
c. Smores
d. Basic 4
Those of you who are on early enough on a Saturday and have talked to me on IM have sometimes heard 'Hey, look, there's a madlibs on the back of the Smores box - give me the name of an elf and four verbs'. I love Smores cereal. I eat it right from the box. Yummy stuff. My old cereal dealers used to be Captain Crunch, with the crunch berries and Fred Flinstone with his Pebbles, but now I pretty much just eat Smores. I used to love those Smores pop tarts, but I think they changed something in the recipe over the years.
What's the one book Zhie thinks everyone should read?
a. The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
b. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle
c. The Methuselah Enzyme by Fred Mustard Stewart
d. 1984 by George Orwell
I love the other three books dearly. The Hobbit will forever remind me of my husband, he read it to my on our honeymoon, and I fell in love with Gollum and Smaug and was especially intrigued by the elves. A Wrinkle in Time was given to me by my aunt when I was maybe eight or so; I didn't get all of the concepts right away, but I loved the story. The Methuselah Enzyme was the first book on tape I even listened to that wasn't one of those 'read alongs' at school... my mum bought it for me, not knowing that there was some stuff in there that maybe giving a young kid, well, eh, but I went and read all of FMS's stuff, and I think if I had to say 'my style is most like...' I would have to point to him. But 1984... wow. My favorite chapter of a book is in that book, I don't know if I'd quite call it my favorite, I love so many books, but I was asked in a post office once when mailing out books (I 'rescue' books and send them out to other people all over the globe), what was the one book everyone should read. That's what I answered. (Monty told the guy that Quidditch book that JK Rowlings did, you know, the thin one... heh...)
Zhie was once the 'Geek of the Week' in 'The Onion' ( http://www.theonion.com )because of her love of...
a. comic books
b. cheesecake
c. Star Trek
d. bobble head toys
It's comics. Between Mark and I, at the time, we counted that we had 16 to 17 thousand. Closer now to 18 thousand, I think.
When they ran the article, they listed my super human powers as 'Being a Republican'.

I'll do the second quizzle answers later... damn, my email really built up while I was gone...
