Awww, as usual, a great chapter. I liked the detail that Glorfindel has never killed before. It took him coming out and saying it for me to notice how it was cleverly mentioned by not mentioning it. As I thought on it, I realized too that Glorfindel had never been said to have participated before; I had just assumed he had. It's a nice little detail which makes Fin all the more huggable and precious.
And Erestor can feel free to comfort me whenever he would like. Though he should let Fin know first. Don't want any angry (soon to be?) balrog-slayers on my tail.
