Last week, I made a post that anyone could ask me to blog about anything; Dark asked me about cats and dogs, and now, Stargirl has asked me about... the last book I've read. Seems everyone else just wants me to stop blogging ;)
Okay...
I have a hard time finishing books in their entirety. I like reference books and non-fiction. I like to learn about real things... so I can write about them.
I also know why she's doing this. My boss likes to ask everyone at meetings 'what is the last book you read?' except, he doesn't ask me, because he thinks that I'm reading them constantly and he'll get a list... little does he know, he'd probably get a blank stare.
Cover to cover, last book I made it through... Book One of 'This is Greenwood', which is manga graphic novel about an all-boys school and there's a girl pretending to be a boy (and doing a bad job of it) living in the school. I'm working on Book Two now (there's ten in the series); I need to order the next book of 'Real/Fake Princess'. I seem to like books where someone pretends to be something they aren't, as I analyze and consider also what I'm writing about in Unforgettable. Perhaps because in real life so many people wear masks, and different masks at different times. Interesting. We've slid into psychology.
And now I go, for Castro is singing now and he's the one I'm hoping will win idle... er, I mean, Idol... heh.
