what the hell... although, one of these questions... well, anyhow, here they are...
Dark's 20 Q's
1. What Fandom(s) do you read -
A: Nowadays, Lord of the Rings, but mostly only my own writing. About two months ago was probably the last time I read someone else's stuff. True, I've been busy, but it was when I happened upon something and then realized halfway through that I wrote it that I decided maybe I should go and see what I've been doing all these years... well, actually, I do read what Jules RPs back to me, so I guess, I'm only reading my stuff and her stuff.
2. Out of the fanfiction you read, who is/are your favorite character(s) -
A: Glorfindel... and all the rest of the Elves, even Gildor, and all the Valar, even Morgoth
3. Do you read Slash, Het or both -
A: I write it all so I read it all
4. What did you have for breakfast this morning -
A: this Burger King thing they've been advertising, and some french toast sticks and a sip of OJ before I had to lecture
5. What was your first Pet and what was its name -
A: The first one that was mine was a black lab named Sammy who died after two weeks
6. How old were you when you realized Masturbation was fun -
A: I was somewhere between 4 and 6... I didn't realize what it was I was doing or even that other people did such things until I was in middle school, I just knew I liked it and it wasn't socially acceptable
7. What was your favorite gift you ever received from a friend -
A: hmmm, that dismisses all the great stuff from family members... the scissors holder that Patricia sent a number of Christmases ago. I use it practically every day, and, it's pink and purple. It's awesome, and I always think of her when I see it hanging next to my Tolkien collection.
8. Which would you rather have, a theme song, or a superhero costume -
A: Both. Actually, being a librarian, I'd have to be quiet and sneaky, so I guess I'd need the costume.
9. Dieing in water, what would you rather have happen. To drown, or To eaten by a shark (And you cant answer with neither, you must pic, becouse Im evol) -
A: What if I eat the shark first? Sharks are tasty.
10. Do you collect trinkets? If yes, what is it/are they -
A: Trinkets? Not so much... I don't like small things, actually... I like big stuff. Heavy stuff. Books. Musical instruments. Stuffed animals.
11. What do you prefer, Coffee, Tea or Soda -
A: Soda, but even that, not so much. I'm a hot chocolate or water drinker. Or juice. I like my juice boxes.
12. Are vultures cute or creepy -
A: Cute enough.
13. What art and crafts do you do -
A: I've done it all. Quilting, cross stitch, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, origami, painting, drawing, watercolor, rug making, dreamcatcher making, woodburning, glass etching, animation, bass, violin, guitar, flute & keyboard playing (music is an art, according to the dewey decimal system), and other stuff I can't recall at the moment. Oh, papermaking. And redoing action figures probably counts.
The one I sucked at was knitting/crocheting... never got the hang of those what-so-ever.
14. What is/are your favorite piece(s) of jewelry -
A: My 'Cheetara' bracelets. TC people won't understand that... Cheetara always wore two bracelets on one wrist, so I've got these two bracelets, one silver and one copper, that I've had forever that my aunt gave me for pretending, and I've had them since. I actually wore them as the 'something old' at my wedding. I've got a number of 'elven' hair clips, too, though I've got one in particular that I thought up a story I'll never write around, so I like that one. And, grandma's pearls, I have those from way back. And of course, my wedding ring is pretty special, too.
15. What is your worst bad habit -
A: Ignoring people, unintentionally or otherwise
16. What is your favorite holiday candy -
A: Peeps... mostly the purple bunny kind. Huh, no surprise, eh? Cadburry eggs, too, the original ones. Back in the day, it was chocolate candy canes from Ambrosia.
17. Which do you prefer, The Museum or The Zoo -
A: Museum. Not enough goats in the petting zoo to trump the video on plate techtonics.
18. Which is better, Movie theater popcorn, or microwave popcorn -
A: Movie. I don't like balloons popping, and popcorn in a microwave is like a hundred tiny balloons being popped. On a similar note, those bread rolls that need to be unwrapped and burst open? I have to have other people open them in other rooms while I cover my ears.
19. Food serving sizes, Reality or Myth -
A: Depends. On cereal, it's crazy talk. On most everything else... people eat too damn fast these days. If people slowed down, they'd find out it's all good. And fine. And such.
