Always hard to read on as people die. But a necessary evil of war, I suppose. You did a nice job describing the battle well enough to give a feel for it without making it harsh enough for nightmares.
Being the fluffy writer I am, you should expect I'll squee over Ress saving the day and the Fin. It's truly a bit surprising it took the two of them as long as it does to get together. They already seem like a couple to me, really. Silly stubborn little lovebirds.
I look forward to more, though I fear to read how many more casualties are on the way.
