drabble meme for alexcat

LOTR ... crack!drabble with Erestor would be nice. :)
So, I did a little research, and here's what came out of it... a double drabble, actually. I see a possibility for expanding upon this later once I finish the rest...
Erestor warily looked over his book. The pipe passed from Elrond to Glorfindel. Celebrian awaited another turn with a content, relaxed look on her face. When it looked as if the device might be offered to him, Erestor bowed his head back down to his reading.
“I forget; the good counselor cannot lose his wits.” Glorfindel’s words were lazy, and he smiled fondly at Erestor with lids drooping. Celebrian giggled; Elrond slowly exhaled.
“On the contrary,” corrected Erestor. “It only seems to me that the leaf is best suited for the Shirelings, and for us, there are substances more refined.”
Celebrian happily took pipe next. “Do tell,” she encouraged.
Erestor frowned, not wishing to give them ideas. “Coca leaf infusions, absinthe, powdered coca leaf mixtures—“
“Is that the stuff you stick up your nose?” interrupted Glorfindel. A cloud of smoke misted between them as the pipe was passed from Celebrian back to Elrond, and Glorfindel coughed slightly.
“Yes, that is one of the things you can do with it,” admitted Erestor.
“That is disgusting,” opined Elrond – the first words he had spoken since lighting the pipe. Celebrian giggled again, which set Glorfindel off laughing.
Erestor sighed and continued reading.
