It's really something to be able to write such a sustained, unrequited love story. I never read one of these chapters without thinking of a short story you wrote, when Glorfindel and Erestor sit on the roof after Gildor has been a right nasty so-and-so and Erestor finds out that Glorfindel has loved him all these years... [That might be two stories but I loved both of them in that case.]

That aspect of Unforgettable really gets to me. And when I read the beginning of Unforgettable, I was never expecting a story that was as ongoing as this one has proved.

Also, I love the way the women know what they are doing and organize things. They are fascinating characters, though (for no reason that is anything to do with the story) they make me uneasy. Something to do with their competence and practicality.

It's quite a saga.
