Ugh! I was wondering if/when the whole "You're just buying a little extra time" clause would come into effect. I liked the detail about Fin 'just knowing' that he was going to die soon. A nice kind of deja vu touch that seemed fitting.
I loved - in that lovesick and sad way - the interaction between Erestor and Fin here. How frightening. And I sense it'll just be all the worse when the attack comes after the whole "don't wear armor, don't work hard, avoid heat" speech. Ugh again.
You're right. I slightly dread the upcoming chapters, and yet, I look forward to them as well. Just keep thinking of the happy ending way down the road. It'll all end fairytale-esque and pretty, and everyone's fluff-o-meters get their fill. :3
/will probably be reading the happy endings more and more often the angstier it gets.
