First thing I thought of was the chapter where Oromë tells Fin what's going to happen...he has some instinctual memory of that conversation, even though there's no way to prove what he *knows*. It's even a bit satisfying for Res to get this wakeup call, makes him face a few things. At least he's paying a bit of attention to Fin at the moment. To be an immortal faced with the idea of knowing when/how it's all going to end rather than a battlefield situation...very akin to a slow fading. The word *lonely* in Fin's climb back to the tower really jumped out at me.(I've already been into the 'happy' chapters, lol!)
Interesting that Res' audition went well, and anticipating what comes of Duilin's new idea.
