Love it! This story is a rather unique combination of contrasts... practical details on agriculture complete with smell and all... a horse called Lemon Drop... a prince of the Noldor... and then the love and the drama and the sex in other chapters. And council politics. And the theatre. I'm growing even fonder of Mirdirin and his common sense :-) Okay, now I really should quit reading the new chapters, lol!
