Oh my, what a fun chapter. Thorondor was brilliant! I love Erestor's return to immature adolescence, and poor, poor, Glorfindel. That he should be afraid of heights, and Erestor with his premonition.

Glory's battle with the balrog must have been fought with an intense single-mindedness enveloped in tunnel vision. I would be pained to think that he worried about heights while suffering the balrog's wrath and giving back his own.
