Thanks! And yes, I've been somewhat following along, I just knew I wouldn't have time to actually read it along this time because it started when we were still in session.
It is definitely more readable, because he was able to write it while relaxed and just for fun and without the pressure of publication. I think Lord of the Rings reflects that pressure he was under, but also due to that pressure, reflects what a good storyteller he was.
