Boring????? BORING??? I think not! It's a delight just to have the two of them back together again, even if it is in a manner that is anything but perfect. But I am amazed at Glorfindel's patience and the fact that he is obviously willing to wait for as long as necessary is worth of great praise (especially when you consider how very long it has been since Gondolin).
