The song came on the tv music video channel (with the whole marching band thing), just as I was starting to work on my NaNo. I remarked at the fact of really liking that song.
On nearly the last day of NaNo, still having no title, and being stuck on a particular spot with Gildor, the video came on again. Again, I remarked about the fact of liking the song. That was when Mark suggested that I use the song title for the NaNo title, since it really seemed like I was drawing from that song all month (and things that happened with that band) despite having not listened to it actively while writing.
I sort of went back and forth on it, and then finally made the decision yesterday to go with it. I wasn't sure who might make the connection.... or if people would just be all 'wtf?' on the title.
