Harley

Early this morning, Mr. Harley Tuttle, our rescue kitty of twelve years, passed away from kidney failure. Harley was best known for sneaking into other people's chairs when they got up to do anything, licking the hair of people he slept on top of, and purring really, really loud. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Mrs. Oreo Tuttle, and his daughter, Artanis.

Harley

As is often the case, my pets make their way into fanfiction somehow.  Charisma, Erestor's cat in the story 'Blind', was based on Harley, as was Fingon's orange tabby in the Pink Bunnies series in the Bunniverse.

Sorry, I was just able to come and start reading through facebook and lj messages and respond to them. I am around this week (not sure if you're still hanging in Wisconsin). I'm actually in the downtown area both today (right now in fact) and tomorrow, though there are lots of different possible places to meet up. *hugs back* thank you for the kind thoughts and words.

I have Saturday night open, I leave Sunday morning. Do you still have my phone number? I can message you the number if you don't. I'd love to see you again and catch up, stand you for a drink or two. I tend to hang at Bistro 333 in the Hyatt or the Miller Pub in the Hilton. I'm staying in the Hilton this year. Texting me is the easiest way to get in touch and I still have your number (as long as you haven't changed it over the past year or two).

Here's hoping we can make this work (since it won't happen again for another year). *hugs*
