My husband has been going through dog book after dog book to find the perfect dog for us (for when we get a house, since we're kinda at that point finally). He has read practically every description of every dog to me.
Used to have, back when I lived with my parents, mixed dogs, like, we had a sheltie/shepherd once, she was a ditz... and a retreiver/greyhound, hyper and silly guy he was... I remember a beagle we had, loved him... anyhow, usually my parents would find these dogs that were old that people didn't want anymore and adopt them so they wouldn't be put down just for being a few years too old... I'm digressing, how did I do that? Yeesh, need more caffeine I think...
Wolfhounds. In one of my favorite novels, there is a mention of them. The idea stuck with me, although in reality I was thinking maybe if I had the chance I'd get a poodle (big poodle, no frufrus) or maybe a great dane... but after all the dog discussion, I've reassessed and decided, might as well just get the kind I really want when time comes for it. So I want a wolfie doggie.
Erm... ^_^ I'll just go pet the zoo goats, hee hee.
